The Competition Format
The Competition takes place in 2 rounds.
Round 1:
Productivity Story In Words
Closing Date: 15 September 2011
- Participants are required to submit an essay describing their productivity story.
Essay submission guidelines can be found here.
- A panel of industry judges will select the 6 most impactful productivity stories:
the best 2 from each of the following travel and tourism categories: (a) Hotels (b) Travel Agents (c) Other Services. These 6 finalist companies will move onto Round 2.
Finalists' Presentation on 24 October (Monday).
The 6 finalists will present their stories during this session that will also feature productivity talks. All interested industry members are invited to attend. Entry is complimentary.
Round 2:
Productivity Story In Motion
End September to November
- The 6 finalist companies will work with a dedicated video production company to turn their productivity story into a motivating short video.
Finalists are not required to pay for the cost of video production. Details of the video production will be made available to all finalists at a later date.
- Each company’s story will be showcased in a video presentation no longer than 3 to 4 minutes.
- All 6 finalist videos will be made available online at this website for voting by the travel and tourism industry and public. Voting dates are from 14 to 30 November 2011 (tentative).
- Winners will be accorded based on both (a) the number of votes (popularity) - 50% weightage (b) judges' evaluation - 50% weightage. All 6 finalists will walk away with cash prizes.
- Prizes will be given away at a prize presentation ceremony during the Tourism Industry Ball on 3 December 2011 at Shangri-la, Singapore.
